You can draw many more characters like easy batman drawing, Anubis drawing, cat drawing, cobra drawing, blueberry drawing, coconut drawing and many more drawing for kids.
Step 1:
Donuts are naturally quite round, so we need to start this guide by drawing a donut with round shapes. For this step, you’ll want to use a pencil for one part and your pen for the other. Using your pen, carefully draw a flat oval shape for the outer rim of the donut. You can then use your pencil to draw another oval inside this one, which will become the hole for the donut. We’ll be using a pencil for the donut hole for now, as we’ll add more detail to it later in this guide.
Step 2:
We already mentioned that we would draw some details in the donut’s hole, so let’s do that for that part of your drawing! Using your pen, you can draw a rougher oval on the pencil. Near the top of this oval, you can draw curved lines, which represent the icing dripping down the hole.
Step 3:
We will create a 3D effect for this 2D drawing in step 3 of this guide on how to draw a donut. To do this, draw a curved horizontal line through the hole in the donut under the dripping icing. This will give the donut hole a nice 3D effect and add depth to your drawing.
Step 4:
The structure of your donut drawing looks great, so let’s bring it all together in great detail in these final steps! We will add a delicious glaze on top of the donut for this part. Such a simple detail helps make this delicious donut even more delicious.
Step 5:
In Step 5 of our guide to drawing a donut, we’ll finish the final details. We’ll show you how we finished our drawing, but this is a step where you can show your creativity too! We draw some small lines and circular shapes to give the effect of icing and sprinkles on the donut. You can go even further with your data! You can draw your favorite donut toppings or glaze on this donut drawing. You can also draw a background for drawing.
For example, the donut could be on a plate next to a steaming cup of coffee. You can even draw a hand to reach for the delicious donut or show us what treat would go well with your donut. This step is where you need to let your imagination run wild to make this picture one of a kind! How are you going to finish this drawing before the final step?
Step 6:
This sixth and last step of your donut drawing is to have fun coloring your awesome picture! We used a savory pink for the frosting of our donut; although this is a look you could use, it’s a step where you should let your creativity run wild. Donuts can have any color frosting, opening you up to amazing color options. For this type of drawing, it may seem interesting to use bright colors to make this image stand out.
Some gloss mediums, such as acrylic paint, colored pens, or markers, would work well for this image. If you prefer a more subdued look to the picture, something like watercolors or colored pencils would also be great. If you’re feeling craftier, you can incorporate extras like sprinkles, stickers, or beads into the icing to make this donut look tasty!
